چکیده
Background: Pain could lead to an increased consumption of opioids intraoperatively as well postoperatively with subsequent side effects and prolonged post-operative recovery. Transverse abdominus plain (TAP) block is commonly used for analgesia. We wanted study the effect TAP block, when given pre-emtive Aims Objectives: The was conducted ascertain benefit before surgical incision. primary objective intraoperative fentanyl requirement in patients undergoing Laparoscopic gynecological surgeries. secondary objectives analyze Intra-operative hemodynamic parameters, time needed extubate patient, sedation score, visual analog scale (VAS) scores, first rescue Materials Methods: Sixty-two eligible female posted total laproscopic hysterectomy or Laproscopic-assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy coming were divided into two groups. Group A – Standard General Anaesthesia pre-operative block. B- Anaesthesia. Whenever there 15% rise heart rate (HR) mean blood pressure (MBP) above baseline, 20 mcg bolus given. Total intra-operative Fentanyl consumption, HR MBP, extubate, sedation, VAS analgesia noted. Results: There no difference demographic profile between required significantly higher B (140.33±12.17 mcg) than (101.33±5.07 mcg). MBP lower throughout procedure. extubation 5.4 min 15.77 B. score observed up 30 Mean Time 452.90±110.46 240±89.13 min. Conclusion: Pre-operative laparoscopic surgeries decreases leading early causes less period.

Effect of a single dose of lidocaine and ketamine on intraoperative opioids requirements in patients undergoing elective gynecological laparotomies under general anesthesia. A randomized, placebo controlled pilot study.
UNLABELLED Background and goal of study: there is evidence that perioperative intravenous ketamine and lidocaine reduce postoperative pain, postoperative opioids consumption, shortens hospital stay and accelerates intestinal function recovery. However, it has not been studied the beneficial effects in the intraoperative period. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of a single dose o...

Background: Pain and shivering are two unpleasant problems in postoperative period. Various techniques are used to alleviate the postoperative shivering and pain. We compared the preemptive prescription of a single dose of intravenous meperidine and ketorolac on postoperative pain and shivering in patients undergoing cesarean section with spinal anesthesia. Methods: One hundred and ...

متن کاملLaparoscopic total extraperitoneal repair under spinal anesthesia versus general anesthesia: a randomized prospective study
BACKGROUND Laparoscopic total extraperitoneal (TEP) inguinal hernia repair is a well-known approach to inguinal hernia repair that is usually performed under general anesthesia (GA). To date, no reports compare the efficacy of spinal anesthesia (SA) with that of GA for laparoscopic hernia repairs. The purpose of this study was to compare the surgical outcome of TEP inguinal hernia repair perfor...
